Hello! I'm Abbie Wieland.
I currently work as a computer science teacher, and love every second of helping my students learn and grow. Though, I did not start as a teacher. I started working as a graphic designer. So, this portfolio is to depict all the work I've done in the past, and continue to work on in my free time. Just to give a little background about how I ended up working with so many different mediums:
Painting was the first art medium I learned as a kid, and have continued learning about over the years. I started with acrylic paint, but have also had the opportunity to work with oil and watercolor as well. I also had the rare case to learn about darkroom photography in high school. Though I continued to learn about photography through college. I now only work with digital photography. Graphic design was the medium that I learned in college. I always had a knack for learning new software / programs on the computer. So I enjoyed spending hours on the computer creating new works of art. I've worked on logos, flyers, and websites for small businesses. I'd love to help you promote your business, or just chat about design.
